RFID anti-theft system, digital guard for electric vehicles
RFID anti-theft system, digital guard for electric vehicles
Describe

Project Background

In recent years, electric bicycles can be seen everywhere on the road. Compared with bicycles, they are more labor-saving, easier and faster; compared with cars, they are more free and more environmentally friendly, not affected by traffic jams, and do not emit exhaust gas that pollutes the beauty of the city; compared with motorcycles, they are more suitable for the public and easier to operate. With many advantages, electric bicycles are very popular. As a result, electric bicycle thefts have also occurred one after another. At present, the regulations on the management of electric bicycles are not perfect. Most electric bicycles have not been registered and licensed. It is difficult to find them after being stolen. It is also difficult to identify the owner of the stolen vehicles. The anti-theft management of electric bicycles needs to be strengthened urgently.

At present, the common anti-theft device for electric bicycles on the market is the remote control anti-theft alarm. This type of alarm has a high sensitivity and the alarm sound can reach more than 100 decibels, which can basically meet the needs of general electric bicycle users. However, this type of device has a high false alarm rate. For example, wind and thunder, children playing, etc., may trigger the alarm. This noise pollution caused by false alarms is serious. Therefore, most electric bicycle users do not turn on the anti-theft alarm device, which gives some criminals an opportunity to take advantage of it. The theft of electric bicycles is becoming more and more serious.

Recently, GPS positioning anti-theft alarms have appeared in the market. This method is costly. If the government finances it, the investment is too large and it is not suitable for promotion. It is reported that a city invested more than 10 million yuan to install 50,000 electric bicycles for free. This cost-effectiveness is too low; and it will also cooperate with operators in the future, and spend GPRS traffic fees every month. Compared with the use of Internet of Things technology, the "electric vehicle anti-theft management system" is technically mature enough, and the cost of an RFID anti-theft system is quite cheap compared to the cost of electric bicycles or other valuables. It is easy to be accepted by the public and has a very broad development prospect.

Solution Introduction

This solution uses advanced RFID ultra-low power consumption technology, which is durable, waterproof and has a service life of more than 3 years. It has a globally unique RFID code inside, and the device status information is written into the chip. It communicates bidirectionally with the matching Fuen long-distance reader.

This solution not only has conventional data collection, transmission and bidirectional communication functions, but also can self-diagnose stolen vehicles in real time and send out alarm signals. It does not require system software for data processing, and is more suitable for remote, independent areas that cannot be connected to the system.

The "Electric Vehicle Anti-theft Management System" consists of two parts. One is to install long-distance readers at the entrances and exits of the community, collect data on electric bicycles entering and leaving the gates, and report thefts to security guards for timely discovery and handling. The second is to expand to every street surface, install long-distance readers at intersections, entrances of large supermarkets, hospitals, vegetable markets and other areas with many people and vehicles, and connect them to the social monitoring system, the "3.20" project and the "110" command center to record the operating status and trajectory information of electric vehicles in the society in real time, providing more detailed clues for investigation and solving cases.

Technical requirements:

RFID technology is used, including electronic tags, readers and writers, and supporting computers and network equipment. Each monitoring point needs to be connected to the public security network. On the one hand, it can obtain shared vehicle data, and on the other hand, it can be compared with stolen vehicles.

Electronic tags:

Each vehicle is equipped with two active RFID electronic tags, one installed on the electric bicycle and one carried by the owner; it is installed directly when the new vehicle is registered, and can be installed directly at the registration point.

Fixed readers and handheld readers:

When an electric bicycle passes by, it can obtain electronic tag information and intelligently compare multiple tags. If there is a stolen vehicle, alarm information can be generated and transmitted to the system service platform in time.

The electronic tags of suspicious vehicles can be collected through handheld readers to detect stolen vehicles in time.

Matching alarm function:
1. When an electric bicycle passes, the system uploads an alarm signal after the electronic tag information in the vehicle obtained by the system cannot be correctly matched with the electronic tag information carried by the owner;

2. When an electric bicycle passes, the system uploads normal data information after the electronic tag information in the vehicle obtained by the system is correctly matched with the electronic tag information carried by the owner;

3. When there is no vehicle entering or leaving, and only the electronic tag carried by the owner passes, only the passing time of this tag is recorded.

Stolen vehicle comparison alarm requirements:
After the reader obtains the electronic tag information of the electric bicycle, the system compares the data with the stolen electric bicycle warehouse through the connected public security network. If the passing vehicle is found to be a stolen vehicle, it will prompt that the vehicle is abnormal and needs to be checked in detail.

The overall design of RFID technology

Functional design

The basic functions of RFID technology in personnel positioning management include:

Identification: How many people or vehicles are there at any time or place, and who these people or vehicles are can be fully identified;

Record: The activity tracks of all people and vehicles entering the community at any time in the community can be recorded in the database;

Location: The community monitoring center can remotely monitor the people and vehicles entering the community;

Query a series of information such as the arrival/departure time and total stay time of relevant people and vehicles at any location, and supervise and implement whether important patrol personnel test and process various data on time and on time, fundamentally eliminating related safety problems caused by negligence.

Anti-cheating: If the people and vehicles entering the community lose or discard their identity cards while driving, the monitoring center can automatically identify them.

Design Solution

Several readers are installed in each channel of the community and the channels where people may pass through, and they are used to exchange data with the computer of the ground monitoring center through the communication line.

At the same time, an RFID electronic tag identity card is placed on each person and vehicle entering the community. When a person or vehicle enters the community, as long as it passes or approaches any reader placed in the channel, the reader will sense the signal and immediately upload it to the computer of the monitoring center. The computer can determine the specific information (such as: who, where, and the specific time). The manager can also click on any location in the community according to the distribution diagram on the large screen or on the computer, and the computer will count and display the personnel situation in this area.

At the same time, once an accident occurs in the community (such as: fire, robbery, etc.), the personnel and vehicle situation around the accident site can be immediately found out according to the personnel location distribution information in the computer, and then the detector can be used to further determine the exact location of the personnel at the accident site, so as to help the public security department to rescue the distressed people and solve the case accurately and quickly.

System Complete

The information processing system is the core of the entire community security system, which consists of a database system and a corresponding application software system. The system can complete the functions of recording, querying and processing the driving paths of personnel and vehicles.

Matching alarm function:

When an electric bicycle passes, the system uploads an alarm signal after the electronic tag information in the vehicle obtained by the system cannot be correctly matched with the electronic tag information carried by the owner;

When an electric bicycle passes, the system uploads normal data information after the electronic tag information in the vehicle obtained by the system is correctly matched with the electronic tag information carried by the owner;

Operational effectiveness

Improve manageability: dual-card association identification, vehicle information system management, and real-name information greatly improve the manageability of electric vehicles.

Reduce management costs: higher efficiency and more controllable single-vehicle anti-theft measures greatly reduce the probability of electric vehicle theft and improve the overall safety level.

Comprehensively collect vehicle information and change "traditional" management to "intelligent" management. The vehicle information collected and recorded by the on-board tag enables electric vehicles to have an informationized identity, becoming an important object for basic information collection by community police, and effectively strengthening the daily management of electric vehicles.

Real-time monitoring of vehicle trajectories, changing "static" anti-theft to "dynamic" anti-theft. When an illegal electric vehicle passes through the identification area, the alarm information is judged, and the public security police command system is linked to command the police to search in real time according to the movement trajectory; in addition, the public security monitoring system can be linked to capture the vehicle to obtain the image data of the driver, providing clues for investigation and solving the case.

Effectively increase the safety factor of the vehicle and change "limited" protection to "real-time" protection. The anti-theft system is also equipped with a portable handheld device for police and security personnel to conduct dynamic inspections to detect whether there are suspicious vehicles around. When a suspicious target appears, the handheld device will sound an alarm, and security personnel can identify the suspicious vehicle by displaying the vehicle's distance and characteristics.
